Closing and Movin ON!
February 17, 2011Originally The Melissa was only going to be open for one month!!! The idea was to pare down my collections of quirky and accumulated finds. The response has been over the top and completely unexpected! It has been an amazing 14-month joy-ride.
Don’t worry, it’s all good! I am shifting my attention to my studio. And of course from time to time I will have a real pop-up store, as well as selling on line. One of my skills is finding funky things for others. So if you need something particular for your home… or a set of wild printed glasses for an occasion… let me know. Also watch for my ETSY store. (Check back here for more information in a few months.)
I really want to thank everyone in the neighborhood who has been so warm and welcoming especially, Silvio and Estella at El Amacen – Yerba Mate Café for their kindness. (I highly recommend Estella’s home-made empanadas!) My amazing staff who kept me and the store going. And of course you, my loyal customer, a giant thank-you for your support and interesting conversations. I hope we will all meet again. Check back here once in awhile and see what’s next. Mean time come and say goodbye before March 6th. Open everyday till then. mon – fri 12 – 7 Sat 12 – 6 Sun 12 -5. 416-399-5557
